"Colored pencil is such a happy medium. I feel like a kid with a new box of crayons when I sit down to draw, the box with 72 colors! Good paper is a must. My favorite is a thick black cotton rag, with a soft smooth finish. Allowing the process of getting bits of dreams onto paper and knowing it will be something different from what the mind conjures up is my major practice,” says Tara.
Tara works from dream imagery, often in-the-round, and finds much inspiration in nature. Whether it is a fox or trees, wings or waves, her vibrant colors and velvety surfaces come together to create unique and inviting images.
